Sometimes as a medical director of Neurosciences I am not able to make it to the monthly nurses team meetings for the Neuro ICU. It is so important for the nurses to know we clinicians are very interested in the issues they have, and vice versa. So the fact that if at the last minute schedules change or my availability for an in person meeting shifts, I can still send a quick “google chat message” to let them know and then “ring the mobile video cart” and there we are, just like being in the room.
